Established in 2013, AK's Cakes and Cupcakes is a family-run business proudly owned and operated by AK Smith and family. Since our inception, we have strived to embody warmth and hospitality, exuding boldness and refinement, delivering freshness and delight, and creating an experience that leaves you wanting more. These qualities have distinguished AK's Cakes and Cupcakes from the very beginning.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to my great-grandmother, Sista Ida Howard. Watching her cook and bake with passion and skill inspired my own dreams from a young age. Her dedication and talent have been a guiding force, and it has been my lifelong goal to honor her legacy. Now, at 93 years old, she can witness our shared dream come to fruition.
